Is my data private?
Yes. Everything stays on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your own private iCloud account. The developer has no servers and cannot see your data. See the Privacy Policy.
Does it sync across my devices?
Yes, through iCloud. Sign in to the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is turned on. Your groups and expenses then stay in sync automatically.
How do I split an expense unevenly?
When adding an expense, choose custom amounts instead of an even split and enter what each person owes. An even split always adds up exactly to the total.
How does “settle up” work?
The Settle up tab calculates who owes whom, suggesting the fewest transfers to clear all balances. Tapping “Mark settled” records a real repayment and updates the balances.
Can I attach a receipt?
Yes. When adding an expense you can take a photo or pick one from your library to attach to it.
How do I edit or delete a group?
Long-press a group on the home screen for Edit and Delete. Deleting a group removes its expenses, members and settle-up history and cannot be undone.
